This is certainly setting up to be a long post, so just stick with me!!!! There was so much going on this weekend, AND in the midst of it all, I lost the card reader, so there was no uploading pictures until today when John got a new one. First, SNOW IN SOUTH GEORGIA?!?!?!?!? WHAT??? Yes, Friday night we got to see some of the white stuff falling from the sky!!!! John McLean insisted that it was "wainin"...I don't think he really understood...nor did he understand why he was getting to stay up so late!!! :)
Ed and I went back out after the boys were inside and getting warm to take one last look. We just couldn't help bringing in a snowball. Looks like they liked it, but with hands as cold as they all were, a washcloth had to be used to hold it...only in the South, huh????
The next morning, we all went down to St. Simons to hang with the Reilly's! Meredith and Ed ran in a Beach Run on Saturday and both did GREAT!!!! Ed even placed 2nd in his age group!!!! Way to go!!! (I don't have any pictures of this because it was just TOO cold for the rest of us to go - but we sure were cheering you on from the house while eating up some Happy Meals!!! :)
While there, John McLean and the bunny tried to become friends...funny that he will tackle Ripken, but bunny makes him VERY nervous!!!!
Bryce is still insisting on teaching John McLean everything he knows...and John McLean continues to want to do EVERYTHING "Bwiiiiish" does!
On Sunday morning, Aunt Mere Mere decided to take on the adventure of making Valentine's cookies with her nephews!!! WHAT WAS SHE THINKING????
It was certainly an adventure, but they are REALLY YUMMY!!! Thanks Aunt Mere Mere!! And you ask, where was the other nephew??? WEEELLLLLL, Baylor has found something that he really enjoys...did he learn everything he knows from Will????? You decide...
The Wood Boys must have very good as cupid dropped a few surprises their way...we also want to say a very special thank you to the Reilly clan and Mimi and Papa for their surprises for us too!!!! Can you say "SPOILED ROTTEN"??????
After a weekend that was as full as this one has been...there is no place these boys would rather be!!!!!!!

And....she even made the cookies from scratch?!? First a marathon, then scratch cookies the next day.... I'm soooo jealous of all that energy! Oh, Colby has those striped p.j.'s too...well, they are a little snug now, but we have them :)

Sounds like you guys had a great weekend. We missed the snow..sad for us. Love the babies in zip up pjs!
